Join Squamish MTB Academy’s After-School MTB Club, where riders aged 5–16 grow their skills in a fun, safe, and inspiring environment. Our certified coaches don’t just teach riding – they empower youth to become confident, resilient riders who feel they truly belong.
At SMBA, we believe mountain biking is more than just a sport – it’s a powerful tool for confidence-building, resilience-building, and creating a true sense of belonging. Our After-School MTB Club combines skill progression with personal growth, helping riders become stronger athletes and even stronger humans.

Riding levels
At SMBA, we understand that creating the best learning environment starts with matching each group to the appropriate skill level and experience. This ensures every rider can grow, have fun, and feel challenged. Please take a moment to review the levels below to find the best fit for your child, or reach out to us—we’re happy to help you choose the right program.
Keep in mind, these levels are simply a guide to assist with group placements. We typically run multiple groups with varying abilities, so there’s flexibility to adjust and move riders into the group that suits them best, even after the program begins.
This program utilizes the Alice Lake and Diamond Head/University trail networks, featuring classic climbs and trails such as LOA, Rollercoaster, Miki’s Magic, Pseudo-Tsuga, and Half Nelson.
