PROGRAM FEATURES:

Each day, riders participate in a 4-hour sessions (9:00am-1:00pm) designed to improve their skills and push their limits. Working thorough the six skills of mountain biking; incorporating a mixture of practice drills, progressions, and trail riding, we teach kids how to become better riders.

What riders will experience:

✅ Trail Riding & Progression: Cornering, braking, pumping, jumping, and technical trail skills
✅ Confidence Building: Encouraging and structured environment for skill development
✅ Small Groups, Big Fun: 1:6 coach-to-rider ratio for personalized feedback
✅ Adventure & Challenge: Explore some of the best Squamish trails with expert guidance

Trail Exploration:

Riders practice their skills on some of Squamish’s best trails, including Mikis Magic, Roller Coaster, LOA, Rupert, Pamplemousse, Half Nelson, Pseudo Tsuga, Angry M, Ditch Pig, Hybrid, Bro Down, and more…

Trail selection in line with group riding level, weather and trail conditions for safe progressions.

Our small group sizes and hands-on coaching ensure every rider gets the support they need to grow.

Riding levels

At SMBA, we understand that creating the best learning environment starts with matching each group to the appropriate skill level and experience. This ensures every rider can grow, have fun, and feel challenged. Please take a moment to review the levels below to find the best fit for your child, or reach out to us—we’re happy to help you choose the right program.

Keep in mind, these levels are simply a guide to assist with group placements. We typically run multiple groups with varying abilities, so there’s flexibility to adjust and move riders into the group that suits them best, even after the program begins.

This program utilizes the Alice Lake and Diamond Head/University trail networks, featuring classic climbs and trails such as LOA, Rollercoaster, Miki’s Magic, Pseudo-Tsuga, and Half Nelson.
